Instantly greeted with mystical music and a captivating deep blue gaming screen, the online casino slot game Avalon certainly possess an unearthly aesthetic power. The initial response to the first glimpse of the game and its music is that you hope it turns out to be as good and as intriguing as it looks and sounds. While Avalon is mesmeric in beauty, there is nothing attractive about the fact that gamers who play it will tend to lose more money than they will win. In fact, you could play Avalon for a while, lose all your money, and never even make it to one of the Feature rounds.
The first Avalon Feature presents itself when three, four, or five Scatter symbols (a blue and gray lady with long hair holding a candle) appear on the reels. When the Scatter Lady of the Lake symbols appears, players are granted 12 Free Spins. Additionally, during this Free Spin bonus round, players can win up to seven times their triggering bet with each spin. Also, during the Free Spin round, the Golden Chest and the Blue-Gray Castle (Avalon) serve as wild cards for all symbols except for the Scatter Lady.
The other bonus feature in Avalon is the Gamble Feature. Upon every winning spin, you can opt to try to double or quadruple your winnings. Should you want to attempt this, click on Gamble. Then, if you want to try to double your winnings, select whether you think the faced-down card is black or red. If you are wrong, you will lose all of your winnings. If you are right, you can either collect your winnings or take a chance at doubling again. If you want to try to quadruple your winnings, then you must choose which suit the card is. If you are right, you can collect your money and return to the game, or you can try to quadruple your winnings again. This is a very risky undertaking and is based strictly on chance. Be careful so as not to lose all of your money.
In Avalon, gamers can wager on up to 20 different gambling lines. The minimum bet per line is $.01, while the maximum bet per line is $.50. All of the gaming directives and controls are laid out across the bottom of the gaming screen. Simply click on which directive you wish and make your choices accordingly. For example, if you want to wager on 10 of the 20 lines, click on Select Lines until you reach the number 10. Other gaming options along this bottom line include: Select Coins; Bet Max; and, Spin. Additionally, game options and money options exist in the lower left corner of the screen.
Also, in Avalon, if players wish to play at the Expert level, they can. Simply click on expert and the menu options along the bottom of the screen change slightly. The primary difference between Expert and Regular levels is that in the Expert level, you can use the Auto Play feature.
Silver Challis’, Gold jewelry with Emeralds, royal appearing letters and numbers all serve to make Avalon a very interesting game for online slot enthusiasts. Regal symbols, interesting bonus opportunities, mystical background music and an aesthetically pleasing screen all make the game magnetic in its own way. While Avalon draws players in, it must be noted that the odds of this game heavily favor the house. Players will rarely win any money while playing Avalon. In fact, in most instances, players lose more money while playing Avalon than they ever win. So, gamble carefully and enjoy the game for what it is – a pleasing and interesting game.
