Go ape. Go bananas. Ride the waves with the surf monkeys in the online casino slot game Big Break. Complete with its own musical and video introduction the online casino slot game Big Break reeks of coolness. In the video, an old fashioned VW van emerges onto the screen with a bunch of surf boards on top of it. When the van stops, five different types of chic and hip monkeys exit the van and lean nonchalantly on their surf boards.
The Lucky Break symbol acts as a wild card substitute and appears only on Reel 5. All wins are doubled when the Lucky Break is used to form a winning spin. The Lucky Break substitute symbol only pays right to left winning spins and also cannot be used in tandem with the Big Break symbol or the Monkey Wax symbol. The Big Break symbol can only substitute for one of the five Monkey varieties.
The first feature offered by Big Break occurs when three, four, or five of the Monkey Wax symbols appear scattered anywhere on the spinning reel. When this occurs players will automatically win 15 Free Spins and an added bonus is that the free spins can be retriggered. In the Free Spin round, winning reels are based on symbols forming winning lines from left to right.
The major bonus in Big Break is the Surfs Up Bonus where gamers have the chance to win up to 50 times their triggering bet. In order to enter the Surfs Up Bonus round, players must have all five different varieties of monkeys appear on the spinning reel. All five of the different monkeys can appear in any order. Then, you pick the monkey you want and a prize amount will be awarded to you. The Big Blue Kahuna monkey offers the largest range of winning multiplier chances. This range is anywhere from 2x to 50x. Next the sassy surfer mama monkey gives the next highest range which is from 3x to 40x. Then, the little blue surfer offers a payout range from 4x to 30x. Then, the short fat monkey offers a range from 5x to 20x, while Joe Cool monkey gives a range of 6x to 15x. Based on these multipliers, players will obviously try to pick the big blue monkey in order to have a chance at the highest multiplier.
Other interesting and tropical symbols in Big Break include a plethora of fruits. Bananas, mangos, kiwi, coconuts, and cantaloupes all add to the atmosphere of the game. The various monkey symbols offer the highest payouts, with the big blue monkey being the highest payout and the Joe Cool monkey offering the least payout of the monkeys.
Although mostly easy to use and follow, the gaming screen of Big Break can at times appear cluttered and confusing. The bottom of the gaming screen contains all of the game directives and controls. The tropical coloring and lettering of the words and boxes come across as somewhat difficult to see and could stand to be a bit brighter. The rules and payout structure can be accessed by clicking on the View Pay box. Here, you’ll find all the rules to the various bonus opportunities of the game.
Along the bottom of the screen contain all the other gaming controls and directives. Before playing, make sure you have properly selected your bet, line, and coin amounts. Clearly displayed in front of you on the screen, simply click on the up and down arrows to change your amounts. When you’ve selected your amounts, click on spin and watch the game play before you.
While Big Break serves as an entertaining game for online slot enthusiasts, it is exceeding difficult to win any money while playing the game. Proceed with caution throughout your Big Break gaming experience.
