Various shades of green and gold dance across the gaming screen in the online casino slot game, Celtic Crown. While the screen appears somewhat attractive, the game offers a variety of different opportunities for online slot enthusiasts to attempt to win money. There are three different bonus opportunities that players can look forward to; however, only one presents itself on a regular basis. The other two opportunities occur as often as one actually wins at the game.
Another negative aspect of Celtic Crown is that the game sometimes automatically changes the bet per line amount without players even noticing it. Players can play and wager on up to 25 lines in Celtic Crown. Additionally, the bet amounts for each line are: $.01; $.02; $.05; $.10; $:20; and, $.25. If you bet 25 lines at $.25 per line, your total bet amount certainly adds up and you can lose a lot of money super quickly.
The way to avoid accidental increase in bet amounts is to constantly check the gaming screen. Make sure that you check the bet and line amounts prior to every spin. In fact, the Celtic Crown gaming screen proves to be most user-friendly and slot players should most definitely take advantage of its ease of use. A multi-green and gold shaded screen provides the background for darker green, gold and white lettering. Cute and colorful shamrocks are scattered throughout the screen as well.
Below the spinning reel contains all the relevant information necessary to gamers. Directly under the reel are the brief bonus opportunities, as well as the game rules and payouts. The lower left corner of the game contains the total player money amount. Next to that are game options, statistics, bank options, and level options. Players can either play at regular or expert level. The difference in the Expert level is that players can play Celtic Crown using the Auto Play function for either five or ten games.
Next to the game options consists of a row of five boxes. The first box contains the bet amount per line. Click on the plus or minus boxes to change this amount. Then, there is the Line Box. You can play on up to 25 lines. Then you have the Coins per Line box, followed by the Bet box, and then the Win and Spin box.
The most attractive feature about Celtic Crown is the Gamble bonus opportunity. Every time a winning spin occurs, players can opt to either collect their winnings or enter a different screen for a chance to double or quadruple their winnings. Be careful here, because if you lose in this round, you lose your triggering winnings as well. If you want to try to double your money, select whether or not the faced-down card will be Red or Black. If you want to try to quadruple your winnings, select which suit you think the faced-down card is. If you win, you can collect or continue until you lose.
The other bonus opportunities rarely occur. The first opportunity results when three or more Harp symbols appear. Each Harp will show a number under it and the total number it adds to equals the total number of free spins players will receive. All winnings during the free spin round are doubled. The last bonus opportunity occurs when the Princess appears on reels 2, 3, and 4. Then six Knights appear on the screen and you must any three of the Knights. Each one will give the Princess a winning prize. All prizes are multiplied by the triggering bet. While Celtic Crown can be confusing, it is still an interesting game and players can enjoy themselves with the multiple bonus opportunities that exist within it. However, gamble with caution as you can lose a lot of money if careless.
